March Team Meeting Held at Grace Church in Anderson

Enjoying Korean food for lunch
In preparation for our journey, our team has been meeting monthly to study scripture, get to know one another, and learn about Ecuador. At each meeting, we have a bible study, share facts about Ecuador, learn Spanish phrases, and read a section of an article by Cameron Vivanco about short-term missions. We also enjoy food that has been prepared by members of the host churches.
Team meeting
On March 19, we had our monthly meeting at Grace Episcopal Church in Anderson. We continued to learn facts about various aspects of Ecuador. This month, it was about wildlife and ecology. We also continued to learn some helpful Spanish phrases to prepare us for some basic conversation. We enjoyed eating Korean food that was cooked by some members of the congregation. We are still struggling with figuring out how to get our team to and from the Atlanta airport. We read section four from the article and have two more to go.

After the meeting, some members of the group went to view the historic sanctuary. It was very beautiful with stained glass windows and intricate woodworking on the pews.
